She recently met with the Governor of Tucumán, Osvaldo Jaldo, to offer her collaboration in public service, specifically noting an interest in social areas such as elderly care, disability services, and childcare.

During a televised exchange, the singer clashed with journalist Marcelo Polino. Polino criticized artists who are only now speaking out about poverty and economic hardship, suggesting they remained silent during previous administrations. Gladys defended her career and integrity, denying that she has ever lived off state funds and questioning Polino’s journalistic neutrality.
