Gladyz Butanda leads assembly in Michoacán to support political transformation

Gladyz Butanda Macías, an aspirant to coordinate the ‘Fourth Transformation’ (4T) in Michoacán, led an informative assembly in Morelia attended by over 7,000 women. During the event, Butanda emphasized the central role of women in Mexico’s public life and the ongoing political transformation of the state and country.

Butanda expressed support for President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, stating that the movement must defend its achievements against conservative opposition. She highlighted the importance of economic autonomy for women and the continuity of social projects aimed at reducing poverty.
