Search interest in upscale camping is soaring. In the past three months Google queries for “Glamping am See” rose 130 % and “Camping Klimaanlage” jumped 450 %. The trend, dubbed glamping, blends outdoor scenery with hotel‑level comforts.

Travel platform Omio highlighted several easily reachable glamping spots. From Germany, travelers can take trains to Bled Lake in Slovenia or buses to Annecy in France’s Alpine region. In Croatia, the coastal town of Rovinj offers luxury tents with pools and air‑conditioning, while Denmark’s historic city of Ribe provides 5‑star campsites near the UNESCO‑listed Wadden Sea. Various price tiers and amenities such as heated cottages and private huts are now common, making glamping a growing alternative to traditional camping.
