Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games announce record University of Stirling selections and Barbados 21‑member squad

The University of Stirling confirmed a record 22 athletes will compete at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, representing six nations in swimming, artistic gymnastics, wheelchair basketball and judo. Selections include Malaysian swimmer Arvin Shaun Singh Chahal and Trinidad and Tobago judoka Gabriella Wood, alongside Olympians such as Duncan Scott and Tom Dean.

Barbados revealed a 21‑member delegation of 11 men and 10 women for the same Games, competing in athletics, gymnastics, judo, para‑swimming, swimming and weightlifting. The squad features Olympic finalist Sada Williams and the nation’s first para‑athlete, swimmer Antwahn Boyce‑Vaughan. The Games run from 23 July to 2 August in Glasgow, Scotland.
