Glasgow Cocktail Week launches with multi-venue party at Kong

Glasgow Cocktail Week 2026 is set to launch with a collaborative opening party at Kong on Thursday, 24 September. The event marks the beginning of the city’s September Weekend and features a takeover by five prominent local venues: House of Gods, Absent Ear, Kelvingrove Café, Bar Dani, and Kong.

The launch party, running from 6 pm to 10 pm, will include festival-exclusive cocktails, DJ sets, a dedicated Spritz experience, and interactive tarot readings. Entry is free for festival wristband holders, who also receive £2 off drinks throughout the event.

The full 11-day festival runs from 24 September until 4 October, involving more than 70 venues. The programme features over 250 exclusive cocktails, masterclasses, tastings, and various interactive experiences designed to celebrate Glasgow’s bar scene.
