Glasgow East End Regeneration Spurs Fast‑Growth Firms

Clyde Gateway’s regeneration programme has transformed the former Victorian gas‑purifier shed at EastWorks in Dalmarnock into a thriving innovation hub. The building now houses three companies—Utopi, Acumen Cyber and Morris & Spottiswood—that were each named in the Sunday Times Fast Growth 50 list after achieving at least 20% annual revenue growth.

Scottish Government Minister for Business and Fair Work Tom Arthur visited the site, praising the place‑based investment for creating jobs and attracting high‑growth businesses. EastWorks is part of Clyde Gateway’s broader plan to develop Dalmarnock Cross into a mixed‑use neighbourhood with new homes, commercial space and world‑class innovation facilities. Other tenants include flexible‑office provider Red Tree @ EastWork, space‑sector firm Simera Sense and café Vin 18.
