Glasgow Warriors defeat Benetton Rugby in United Rugby Championship

Glasgow Warriors secured a 24-20 comeback victory against Benetton Rugby at Stadio Comunale di Monigo during Round 4 of the United Rugby Championship. Despite Benetton establishing an early lead, including a 17-0 advantage, Glasgow managed to overturn the deficit in the second half.

Benetton's scoring was led by a try from Federico Zanandrea and successful kicking from Jacob Umaga. However, Glasgow's momentum shifted following a yellow card issued to Benetton's Mattia Midena in the 46th minute. The Warriors' comeback was fueled by tries from Louis Lynagh, Euan Ferrie, Kyle Steyn, Rory Darge, and Jare Oguntibeju.

Benetton head coach Wayne Pivac expressed frustration over the loss, noting that while the team showed improved physicality and defensive aggression, errors and a failure to manage key situations prevented them from securing their first win of the championship season.
