Glasstress 2026 exhibition in Venice showcases glass art innovation

The ninth edition of Glasstress, titled Glasstress 2026, opened at Ca' Tron and the Fondazione Berengo Art Space in Venice. Curated by Adriano Berengo together with Joanna De Vose, the show features more than sixty artists who explore glass not merely as a traditional material but as a medium for artistic research, craft knowledge and experimental practice. Installations include a mirror series by the collective Gelatincostella that continuously reshapes the exhibition space, creating reflective, surreal viewpoints for visitors. The curatorial approach emphasizes pluralities of technique and concept, allowing each artist to engage with glass in distinct ways without imposing a single aesthetic direction.
