Glastonbury Festival 2027 tickets sell out in 42 minutes
Tickets for the Glastonbury Festival 2027 sold out in approximately 42 minutes on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The rapid sell-out follows a fallow year in 2026, which was intended to allow the ground at Worthy Farm in Somerset to recover.
For the first time in the festival's history, general admission prices have exceeded the £400 threshold, with tickets costing £408 including a £5 booking fee. This represents an increase of nearly £30 compared to the 2025 event. The price hike has drawn criticism from some fans who described the cost as “unreasonable” or “a scam.”
Organizers implemented a new registration and queuing system designed to combat bots by preventing users from logging in via multiple devices simultaneously. While the lineup for the June 2027 festival has not yet been announced, organizer Emily Eavis has reportedly ruled out Madonna and Oasis as potential headliners. A resale of any cancelled or returned tickets is expected to take place in spring 2027.
