Glastonbury organiser denies Madonna 2027 headline rumors
Glastonbury festival organiser Emily Eavis has dismissed rumors that Madonna will headline the event in 2027. Speaking on BBC Radio 4, Eavis confirmed that the headliners for the June 2027 festival have already been booked, but stated, “No, it’s definitely not Madonna, I’ll tell you that.”
Eavis noted that approximately 95% of stories regarding the festival lineup are inaccurate. While she declined to comment further on potential performers like Taylor Swift, she expressed excitement about the three headliners already secured for the upcoming event.
The speculation regarding Madonna followed hints from the singer about planning “something bigger” in the UK next summer. Separately, Madonna's recent collaboration with Kylie Minogue, “Love Sensation,” reached number 8 on the UK singles chart, marking her highest-charting UK song in 17 years.
