Glaxo to open the 8th Entre Ríos International Film Festival
The 8th edition of the Entre Ríos International Film Festival (FICER) will open with the film ‘Glaxo’, directed by Benjamín Naishtat. The film, which stars Lali Espósito, Marcelo Subiotto, Esteban Lamothe, and Esteban Bigliardi, will have its national premiere at the festival on November 24.
A co-production between Argentina and Brazil, ‘Glaxo’ is based on the novel by Hernán Ronsino. Set in Chivilcoy, the story follows how the arrival of an ex-police officer and his wife transforms the relationship between four friends, exploring themes of friendship, betrayal, and guilt within the context of Argentine history.
The festival, organized by the Entre Ríos provincial government through the Instituto Autárquico Audiovisual de Entre Ríos (IAAER) and the Asociación de Realizadores Audiovisuales de Entre Ríos (ARAER), will run until November 29. The program includes national and regional competitive sections, international cinema, training activities, and live music.
