Glücksburg to host traditional ships for 2026 Apfelfahrt

The traditional ships of the Museumshafen Flensburg are scheduled to participate in the 2026 Apfelfahrt, stopping in Glücksburg on Friday, October 16, 2026. Starting at 2:00 PM at the Sandwig sea bridge, the vessels will be loaded with apples from the surrounding Glücksburg area.

Visitors are encouraged to participate in a human chain to help load the apple crates onto the ships by hand. Local activities will include demonstrations of manual apple pressing and peeling for children. Following the loading process, the ships will depart for Flensburg at 5:00 PM, where the apples will be sold at the Museumshafen Flensburg Apple Market on October 17 and 18.
