Hockenheimring hosts Glücksgefühle-Festival for 250,000 attendees

The Glücksgefühle-Festival at the Hockenheimring concluded its 2026 edition, drawing approximately 250,000 attendees. The event featured a diverse lineup including David Guetta and the No Angels, concluding with a drone show and a closing ritual.

During the event, emergency services provided medical assistance to nearly 900 people, with 33 individuals requiring hospital transport. Authorities reported several typical festival-related offenses, including eight cases of bodily harm, one theft, one instance of property damage, one case of sexual harassment, and four aviation law violations. All suspects were identified and removed from the premises.

On the philanthropic front, the Postcode Lottery presented a 1.5 million euro donation to DKMS Deutschland to support the fight against blood cancer. While organizers highlighted the festival's success, some reports noted the omission of recent controversies involving the band Alphaville regarding political statements on stage.
