Gleb Pugachyov continues KHL training camp with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod

Montreal Canadiens prospect and first-round pick Gleb Pugachyov is currently participating in training camp with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the KHL. While his position on the roster remains unconfirmed, his recent appearance in a Russian junior league (MHL) game has not resulted in him being cut from the KHL squad.

Due to the structure of KHL preseason training, players are often divided into groups, and young athletes may play in MHL games during breaks between KHL preseason matchups. Pugachyov scored an empty-net goal in an MHL game following Torpedo's August 14 preseason game, ahead of their next scheduled matchup on August 18.
