Gleb Savchenko alleges misconduct in custody dispute with ex-wife

Dancing With the Stars professional Gleb Savchenko has filed court documents in Los Angeles alleging misconduct by his ex-wife, Elena Samodanova, during an ongoing custody dispute. Savchenko claims that Samodanova provided their 15-year-old daughter, Olivia, with weight-loss medication without medical oversight or his consultation. He further alleged that Samodanova made disparaging remarks regarding the teenager’s body and appearance.

Savchenko also reported that his daughter was subjected to the silent treatment and had her bedroom door removed as a form of punishment. While the children currently reside in Hong Kong with Samodanova, Savchenko is seeking court restrictions to prevent behavior harmful to the children’s physical or emotional health and to protect his scheduled parenting time and unmonitored communication with his daughters, Olivia and Zlata.

In response, Samodanova has filed her own claims, alleging that Savchenko is in contempt of court for enrolling Olivia in a California high school without her permission.
