Gleb Savchenko and ex-wife in international custody battle

Professional dancer Gleb Savchenko and his ex-wife, Elena Samodanova, are engaged in an international custody battle over their 15-year-old daughter, Olivia. Samodanova is pursuing legal proceedings to have her daughter returned to Hong Kong.

Samodanova has raised concerns regarding Olivia’s living environment, noting that court documents indicate the teenager is residing in a property owned by Savchenko’s girlfriend, Trujillo. Samodanova expressed worry regarding the stability of the environment, stating, “My concern is Gleb’s judgment as a father and whether this is an appropriate and stable environment for our teenage daughter.”

Savchenko has denied these concerns, maintaining that Olivia is safe and well-supported. He has requested that the court take the teenager’s own wishes into account as she approaches her 16th birthday.
