Glen Innes Highlands Hub joins University of New England innovation network

The Glen Innes Severn Council and the University of New England (UNE) have entered a partnership to integrate the Glen Innes Highlands Hub into the UNE SMART Region Incubator (SRI) network. This collaboration aims to bolster business opportunities for local entrepreneurs and small businesses in the Glen Innes region.

Through this connection, local business owners will gain access to mentoring, training workshops, industry connections, and university researchers without needing to relocate. The Highlands Hub will continue to serve as a local coworking and community space while acting as a regional node for the UNE SRI innovation network. The partnership also intends to bring increased activity to the area through masterclasses and member gatherings hosted at the Hub.
