Glen Kamara joins Queens Park Rangers on loan from Stade Rennais
Finnish midfielder Glen Kamara, who arrived at Stade Rennais in the summer of 2024 from Leeds United for €10 million, is set to leave the French club. After limited playing time – only 88 minutes in his last season – Kamara has agreed to a loan move to English side Queens Park Rangers, with an option for the club to purchase him permanently. The transfer was confirmed by journalist Fabrizio Romano and is expected to be finalised shortly. Rennes will reduce its squad size and wage bill, while Kamara seeks to revive his career in the English Championship.
The deal is a loan with an option to buy, and Kamara remains under contract with Rennes until 2028.
