Gülşen Tuncer and Gabi Novak pass away

Turkish actress Gülşen Tuncer has passed away at the age of 81 following a long battle with stage four brain cancer. Tuncer, who was born in Adana and trained in Istanbul, had a career spanning over five decades in theater, film, and television. She was widely recognized across the region for her role as Arsen in the series ‘Strasti Orijenta’. Beyond acting, she worked as an assistant director on approximately 40 film projects and was involved in songwriting, scenography, and production.

In separate news, legendary singer Gabi Novak has died at the age of 89. Novak passed away in a hospital following heart complications. She had spent her final days at a care home in Zagreb, where she was a well-loved figure among staff and fellow residents. Reports indicate her health declined rapidly following the loss of her son.
