Glencar completes Martland Park industrial unit in Wigan

Glencar has achieved practical completion on a 101,805 sq ft industrial and logistics unit at Martland Park in Wigan. Developed for Hillwood UK, the facility has earned a BREEAM Excellent rating.

The high-specification building features a 12-metre haunch height and first-floor office accommodation with a Cat A fit-out. Sustainability measures integrated into the site include photovoltaic panels, electric vehicle charging points, and cycle facilities, alongside comprehensive drainage and groundworks infrastructure.

This project marks the second completed development between Glencar and Hillwood UK, with work already commencing on a third scheme, Hillwood Park in Luton. The Martland Park site is located near other major occupiers such as Makita, Hein, and Arrow XL.
