Glenda Kozlowski Hospitalized for Three Days After Spinal Crisis

Brazilian TV presenter Glenda Kozlowski announced on social media on 28 July that she was hospitalized for about three days after suffering a lumbar spinal overload that caused sudden loss of strength in both legs and a fall at home. Medical examinations identified a mechanical overload in the lumbar region, associated with natural degenerative changes in her intervertebral discs. Kozlowski said the episode produced intense pain and limited her ability to walk or stand unaided.

She will follow a conservative recovery plan that includes rest, medication and physiotherapy. The presenter thanked the staff at Hospital Vila Nova Star in São Paulo for their care and noted that, as a body‑board athlete, her spine has endured considerable stress over the years. Followers on Instagram and other platforms sent her numerous messages of encouragement and well‑wishes during her convalescence.
