Glenn Nymberg appointed to referee Greece vs. Serbia Nations League match

Swedish referee Glenn Nymberg has been appointed by UEFA to officiate the Greece vs. Serbia match in the Nations League A opener. The game is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, in Belgrade.

Nymberg, 37, is well-known to Greek football fans, having previously officiated the Greece 2-0 victory over Ireland in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. He has also managed several matches involving Greek clubs in European competitions, including fixtures for Olympiacos and AEK.

His officiating team includes fellow Swedes Mahbod Beigi and Andreas Senterkvist as assistants, with Adam Landbeck serving as the fourth official. The VAR team will consist of Spaniards Guillermo Cuadrado Fernández and César Soto Grado.
