Gliwice advances construction of new South Park

Construction is progressing on the South Park (Park Południowy) in Gliwice, with the first two sections expected to be completed within the current year. The project includes a green alley stretching from Kochanowskiego to Toruńska streets, featuring walking paths, bicycle lanes, lighting, and recreational areas such as a playground and an outdoor gym.

The development will introduce over 230 new trees and 550 square meters of shrubs to the area. To accommodate the project while preserving existing allotment gardens, the scope of the investment was previously adjusted by the city president.
