Gliwice and Bielsko-Biała announce municipal development projects

The city of Gliwice has launched a tender for the purchase of 28 new playground devices to be installed across various locations. The project includes the construction of a new playground near the Radiostacja and the upgrading of four existing sites in Bojków, Zatorze, Łęby, and Sośnica. Planned equipment includes trampolines, zip lines, obstacle courses, and specialized sets for people with disabilities.

In Bielsko-Biała, preparations for the 2026/2027 holiday season have begun with a tender for city-wide illuminations. Key planned decorations include a light installation of a Fiat 126p on the Market Square—a tribute to the car's local production history—an angel figure near Sułkowski Castle, and Santa's sleigh at Reksio Square. The project covers the rental, transport, installation, and maintenance of various light structures across several central streets and squares.
