Gliwice and Knurow police report weekend traffic violations
Police in the Gliwice and Knurow regions reported several traffic violations during the final weekend of the summer holidays. Among the infractions, seven intoxicated cyclists were fined a total of 2500 PLN.
Authorities also dealt with several incidents involving electric vehicles and minors. A 15-year-old from Knurow was caught transporting a passenger on an electric scooter and attempted to evade a police checkpoint. Additionally, a 14-year-old was stopped while operating a vehicle capable of speeds over 60 km/h; because of its performance, the vehicle was classified as a moped rather than an electric scooter. The minor was riding without a helmet and had previously attempted to flee from officers.
