Güçlükonak rescue teams carry injured person via stretcher through rugged terrain
Emergency teams conducted a difficult rescue operation in the Güçlükonak district of Şırnak after a 50-year-old individual fell from a tree. The incident occurred in the Bahçe area, a location lacking road access.
Following a report to the 112 Emergency Call Center, teams from AFAD, UMKE, and the gendarmerie traveled for approximately two hours through rugged terrain to reach the injured person. After providing initial medical intervention on-site, responders had to carry the individual on a stretcher for about one hour to reach the nearest ambulance.
The injured person was successfully handed over to medical personnel at 15:36 and subsequently transferred to the Güçlükonak State Hospital for treatment.
