Turkish investigations reveal new evidence in Güllü and Eyüp Can cases
Investigations into two separate criminal cases in Turkey have yielded significant new evidence.
In the investigation regarding the death of singer Güllü, who fell from a window in Yalova, new audio recordings have surfaced. The recordings allegedly involve her daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, and an individual known as ‘Sisi’ (Seyhan Soylu). The dialogues reportedly include discussions about blackmailing Gülter’s fiancé, Kervan Eminoğlu, using private images, as well as plans regarding the singer's legacy and musical projects following her death.
Separately, in Mersin's Anamur district, new security camera footage has emerged in the case of 12-year-old Eyüp Can Güner. The footage shows the suspect, N.U., chasing the child before entering a passage where the boy was later found dead. The recordings reveal that the suspect remained inside the passage for approximately three minutes. While the suspect was initially charged with causing death through negligent behavior, the victim's family and legal counsel are pushing to have the charge upgraded to intentional homicide, citing the suspicious nature of the footage and autopsy findings.
