Global Agribusiness Festival heads to Sorriso, Brazil, highlighting sustainability and mechanization

The Global Agribusiness Festival (GAFFFF) took place in Sorriso, Mato Grosso – Brazil’s "capital nacional do agronegócio" – from 23 to 26 July 2026. Organized by Datagro in partnership with the municipal government, the four‑day event combined a trade fair with more than 200 exhibiting brands, an arena for family agriculture, high‑end gastronomy, sertanejo concerts and a Professional Bull Riders rodeo featuring R$ 500 000 in prize money.

A key focus of the edition was connecting small and medium producers with advanced, low‑cost technologies. SEBRAE MT and SEBRAE GO set up a joint stand and technical program to promote sustainable practices, mechanisation and decarbonisation, addressing labor shortages in the countryside. Speakers from Goiás and Mato Grosso presented tools for environmental mitigation and automation, while SEBRAE staff offered on‑site assistance on credit, market access and business management.

The festival aimed to showcase Mato Grosso’s productivity, innovation and export potential, drawing thousands of visitors and generating opportunities for local hotels, restaurants and service providers.
