Global Agribusiness Festival in São Paulo projects R$ 2.2 billion in business

The Global Agribusiness Festival (GAFFFF) is scheduled to take place on October 1 and 2 at Nubank Parque in São Paulo. Promoted by Datagro in partnership with the Sociedade Rural Brasileira, the event expects to attract approximately 35,000 participants and generate over R$ 2.2 billion in business.

The festival features 230 companies and roughly 330 speakers from more than 20 countries. Key discussion topics include artificial intelligence in farm management, credit and capital markets, food security, climate change, and international trade requirements regarding traceability and environmental standards.

A significant portion of the agenda, the WAWL (World Agribusiness Women Leadership) segment, focuses on female leadership in the sector. This includes discussions on succession, governance, and the role of women as ambassadors for the Brazilian agricultural brand. Notable participants include Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland, and Silvia Massruhá, President of Embrapa.
