Global Alliance for Palestine launches campaign in 60 countries

The Global Alliance for Palestine (GAFP), in collaboration with the Anti-Apartheid Movement and the Global Coalition Against the Occupation of Palestine, has launched an international campaign spanning 60 countries and six continents. More than 200 organizations, including civil society groups, labor unions, student unions, and human rights networks, are participating in the initiative.

The campaign seeks to demand accountability for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Palestine, the enforcement of international law, and the imposition of restrictions or bans on arms exports to Israel. Participants plan to target state institutions and commercial entities linked to military supply chains through various methods, including mass demonstrations, sit-ins, cultural events, and educational activities.

Beyond street protests, the movement aims to exert pressure on parliaments to address the legality of military cooperation through emergency sessions and formal inquiries. Dr. Enes Tekriti, Secretary General of the GAFP, stated that the ongoing violence has demonstrated the inadequacy of traditional international diplomacy, calling for the cessation of military supply lines and the prosecution of those responsible for war crimes.
