Global Citizen Festival announces 2026 lineup for New York City

The 2026 Global Citizen Festival is scheduled for September 26 at Central Park’s Great Lawn in New York City. The lineup features Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, who will perform a special set celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Fugees’ album, ‘The Score’. Other performers include Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey, and the K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

Hosted by Hugh Jackman, the event aims to combat extreme poverty through three primary goals: providing electricity to 2.5 million homes, helping 2 million children access education, and supporting 1.5 million smallholder farmers. Unlike traditional concerts, attendance is tied to advocacy; fans can earn tickets by completing actions on the Global Citizen app or website to support global issues.

Celebrities such as Rachel Brosnahan and Gayle King are also expected to appear at the event.
