Global clinical trial targets multiple myeloma without stem cell transplants
The Hematology Clinic of the Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria delle Marche (AOUM) has joined a multicenter international research network to conduct a global clinical trial for treating multiple myeloma.
The study utilizes a specific antibody as a first-line therapy, aiming to provide a definitive cure that eliminates the need for stem cell transplants. Two young patients from the Marche region have already begun the innovative therapeutic protocol, which focuses on using targeted molecules to combat hematological malignancies.
