Global cultural landmarks and local memorials highlighted
Various global landmarks and cultural tributes are drawing attention. In Granville, France, a new walking route has been established to showcase 30 notable sites, including the historic Haute Ville district. This upper town, situated on a rocky promontory 30 meters above the English Channel, features ancient fortifications and stone walls that once protected the settlement.
In Olsztyn, Poland, a new memorial bench has been unveiled at Plac Jedności Słowiańskiej to honor Tadeusz Machela. Machela, a musician and co-founder of Kapela Jakubowa who passed away in 2019, was a significant figure in Warmian culture. The sculpture was inaugurated by Mayor Robert Szewczyk and the artist's widow, Hanna Machela.
In Vietnam, the Golden Bridge near Da Nang continues to be a major tourist attraction. Located at an altitude of approximately 1,414 meters in the Ba Na Hills, the 150-meter walkway is supported by two large, stone-imitation hands. Designed by TA Landscape Architecture, the structure is accessible via cable car and offers views of the Truong Son mountain range.
