Global expands podcast Plus subscriptions

Global has announced the expansion of its Plus subscription service, adding six major podcast brands to its lineup on Global Player and YouTube. The new additions include James O’Brien, My Therapist Ghosted Me, The Crime Agents, The Sports Agents, The Wittering Whitehalls, and Vogue & Amber.

Subscribers can access ad-free episodes and exclusive content. For example, a James O’Brien subscription provides access to several of his shows, plus exclusive series such as ‘Ask James Anything’ and ‘James Reacts,’ along with monthly newsletters. The Crime Agents Plus will feature monthly deep dives into significant criminal cases, beginning with an investigation into the Lucy Letby case.

Subscription tiers start at £2.99 per month or £29.99 per year for ad-free listening, with an option for £4.99 per month or £49.99 per year to include exclusive content. This expansion follows existing Plus offerings like Nick Abbot – The Whole Show and Up To Speed.
