Global Finance recognizes Itaú Uruguay and CaixaBank for digital banking excellence

Global Finance has issued its annual awards recognizing excellence in digital banking, with Itaú Uruguay and CaixaBank receiving multiple distinctions.

Itaú Uruguay was named the Best Digital Bank in Uruguay for the fifth consecutive year, securing honors in both the Consumer and Corporate categories. The bank also received recognition in six subcategories, including best mobile banking app, best digital product offering, and best information security and fraud prevention management.

In Spain, CaixaBank was recognized as the best digital bank for individuals. The institution received four additional awards focusing on its mobile application, user experience, and online financial product offerings. The awards highlight the bank's use of artificial intelligence for personalized services and real-time fraud prevention systems.
