Global Game Growth Gateway to host overseas market report session

The International Game Developers Association Japan, the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and the Japan Arts Council will host a report session on October 20 for the ‘Global Game Growth Gateway’ (G4) program. This initiative is designed to support Japanese game developers in expanding into international markets, specifically focusing on North America, Europe, and China.

The event will feature reports on insights gained from visiting the gamescom event in Germany and from a developer dispatch program to Sweden. Speakers will discuss market trends, networking achievements, and practical knowledge for global expansion.

The session includes presentations from various publishers and developers, followed by a networking event and a hands-on exhibition of selected game titles. The program aims to build a foundation for Japanese games to be widely accepted abroad by sharing expertise within the domestic developer community.
