Trip. Gourmet announces 2027 Fine Dining List amid rising food-driven travel trends

Trip. Gourmet, a dining brand under Trip.com Group, celebrated its 10th anniversary in Singapore by announcing its 2027 Fine Dining List. The list recognizes 744 restaurants across three tiers—Black Diamond, Diamond, and Platinum—spanning 40 countries and regions. This announcement highlights a growing travel trend where diners select restaurants before deciding on their travel destinations, supported by a 45% increase in food-related searches.

In Thailand, 25 restaurants were included in the list, with Sorn and Sühring earning Black Diamond status. Additionally, the TOP25 Restaurants Thailand Awards 2026 is scheduled for October 26, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, aiming to promote the nation's culinary scene as a major tourism driver.

In Japan, the restaurant search site Tabelog released its ‘2026 Wagashi and Sweets 100 Famous Stores’ list. The selection covers three regions—Tokyo, East, and West—highlighting top-rated traditional confectionery and sweet shops based on user evaluations.
