Global Grace Cancer Run 2026 Launches 9th Edition in Hyderabad
The 9th edition of the Global Grace Cancer Run 2026 was announced at a launch event in Hyderabad on August 1. The run is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Gachibowli Stadium and will be offered in both physical and virtual formats, with the Hyderabad edition taking place in person. Filmmaker Anil Ravipudi and actress Nidhhi Agerwal served as chief guests, unveiling the event T‑shirt and Finisher’s Medal. Participants may register for 2 km, 5 km or 10 km distances.
Organisers aim to raise funds to provide free cancer screening for 100,000 economically disadvantaged people through mobile screening units, promote HPV vaccination, and encourage preventive health habits. Dr. Chinnababu Sunkavalli, founder of the Grace Cancer Foundation, announced that the foundation will soon be listed on the National Stock Exchange’s Social Stock Exchange to increase transparency and public participation. Quambiant Developers, represented by founder Yogendranath, is the global title sponsor of the event.
