Global Journalists Council announces international event schedule

The Global Journalists Council (KGK), which maintains representatives in 88 countries and 81 provinces, has announced an intensive schedule of meetings, workshops, exhibitions, and award ceremonies for September, October, and November.

The 2026 event calendar begins with a board meeting in Sakarya from September 11–13, hosted by Güven Hasbaş. Following this, the council will hold events in Kırşehir from September 14–17, where members will participate in Ahilik Week celebrations organized by the Kırşehir Governor's Office.

From September 19–21, the Local Media Council will meet in Afyonkarahisar, hosted by Mehmet Emin Güzbey, to discuss industry challenges and solutions. The scheduled tour of events will continue through London and Alanya to complete the year's itinerary.
