Global lighting industry showcases innovation at Hong Kong fairs and London installation

The 28th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) and the 11th Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo have opened, featuring approximately 3,000 exhibitors from over 20 countries. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the fairs operate under the theme ‘Beyond Illumination,’ focusing on smart connectivity, healthy living, immersive spatial experiences, and sustainability.

In London, the LiGHT 26 festival will present ‘Take a Moment,’ an immersive light art installation at the Business Design Centre on November 18 and 19. Created by ZHA in collaboration with formalighting, the installation uses light and sound across three chambers—representing sun, water, and wind—to explore the relationship between nature and environmental transformation, specifically addressing themes of drought, flooding, and hurricanes.
