Global passport reports rank Togo and Trinidad and Tobago
Recent passport reports highlight varying levels of global mobility and inbound openness for Togo and Trinidad and Tobago.
Togo has been ranked 4th globally for its openness to foreign passports, measuring the ease with which international travelers can enter the country. However, the Togolese passport itself ranks 147th in terms of outbound mobility, with a score of 63 and a 31.8% global access rate. While Togo allows visa-free or simplified entry to 135 countries, Togolese citizens require visas for many of those same destinations.
Trinidad and Tobago ranks 54th globally in the 2026 Passport Reports index, holding a Mobility Score of 140. Its passport provides access to 70.7% of worldwide destinations through visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or electronic authorization. While the country maintains full regional access across South America and the Caribbean, citizens still require traditional visas for travel to the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. This represents a slight decline from its 47th place ranking in 2025.
