Global payment providers expand partnerships in Bahrain and Thailand

Global Payment Services (GPS) and CrediMax have entered an agreement to expand their point-of-sale (POS) acquiring partnership in Bahrain. The collaboration involves replacing existing terminals with a new generation of advanced Smart POS devices to provide faster and more intuitive checkout experiences for merchants and customers.

In a separate development, Global Payments Inc. has partnered with Centara Hotels & Resorts to enhance cross-border payment capabilities in Thailand. The partnership aims to reduce currency friction and support international travelers across Centara’s Thai property estate, addressing complexities in settling funds across borders and supporting the growing trend of direct hotel bookings in Southeast Asia.
