Specific increases were noted in the London FTSE 100 (0.76 percent), Germany's DAX (0.60 percent), and France's CAC 40 (0.44 percent). In Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC rose 1.09 percent, though the FTSE-BIVA saw a decline of 1.68 percent.
In the energy sector, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell 0.45 percent to $86.43 per barrel, while Brent crude decreased 0.02 percent to $93.76 per barrel.
Regarding investment strategies to combat inflation, experts highlight several Ibex 35 companies, including Naturgy, Enagás, and Iberdrola, which offer dividend yields exceeding 3 percent. Such assets are recommended for conservative portfolios to help preserve purchasing power against projected inflation rates.
