Global Survey Finds 91% of Firms Back Electrification, Poland Leads with 83% Target by 2035

A new report titled “Powering Up. Business Perspectives on Electrification” surveyed 1,994 senior managers from 18 countries, including Poland, Japan and the United States. The study shows that 91 % of respondents see electrification as essential for improving their companies’ energy security.

In Poland, 83 % of firms say they intend to fully electrify their operations by 2035, and 78 % believe recent geopolitical instability makes the transition even more urgent. A majority also supports moving away from fossil fuels altogether. Experts stress that achieving these goals will require massive investment in and modernization of electricity networks. Agata Rudnicka of the Forum for Responsible Business noted that “integrating the whole infrastructure and adapting it to the needs of a modern energy system” is critical, while Bruce Douglas, president of the Global Renewables Alliance, warned that access to cheap, reliable electricity will be a key competitive factor for businesses.
