Magic Kingdom remains world's most-visited theme park in 2025
According to the 2025 TEA Global Experience Index, Disney World’s Magic Kingdom retained its position as the most-visited theme park globally, recording 17.8 million visitors, a slight 0.2% decrease from the previous year.
The report highlights a shifting landscape in Orlando following the May 2025 debut of Universal’s Epic Universe. While Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure saw attendance declines of 2.1% and 2.6% respectively, Epic Universe drew approximately 4 million visitors during its first seven months of operation. This new addition helped increase combined attendance across Central Florida’s leading theme parks by 4.3%.
Other notable global trends include growth at Disneyland Resort in California and Parc Disneyland in Paris. Conversely, Universal Studios Hollywood saw an 8% decline, attributed to regional wildfire impacts in Southern California. In Asia, Universal Studios Japan, Tokyo Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland all reported modest increases in visitor numbers.
