Global tourism leaders gather for major international trade events

The global travel and tourism industry is preparing for a series of significant international meetings scheduled for late October 2026. Key gatherings include WTE Miami 2026 in the United States, which aims to connect international tourism suppliers with American travel buyers, and the Cruise Forward Summit 2026.

Other major events include the IATA World Financial and Passenger Symposiums and the A World for Travel 2026 forum in Paris. These meetings will bring together aviation specialists, cruise executives, and sustainability experts to address operational challenges, technological developments, and changing traveler expectations.

In a related development, China is preparing its largest delegation in recent years for the World Travel Market (WTM) London. Representing 116 cultural and tourism enterprises, the Chinese delegation will showcase artificial intelligence-powered innovations, such as smart glasses and translation devices, alongside traditional cultural heritage demonstrations.
