Malta to host WTTC Global Summit with 200 industry leaders

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) will host its 26th Global Summit in Valletta, Malta, from October 7–9. The event is expected to convene over 200 high-level leaders, including CEOs from major hospitality, aviation, and cruise companies such as Hilton, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons, and MSC Group.

Under the theme “FUTU[RE]SET: Shaping the Future of Travel and Tourism,” the summit will address the impact of artificial intelligence, changing consumer habits, geopolitical developments, and industry sustainability. The Maltese government aims to use the summit to showcase its vision for a high-quality, resilient, and future-ready tourism sector that balances technological innovation with the preservation of national heritage and environment.
