Global TV manufacturing shipments decline in Q3 2026

The global television manufacturing market is entering a period of decline after four consecutive years of growth. According to data from TrendForce (RUNTO), global ODM shipments in the third quarter of 2026 reached 29.21 million units, a 6.9% decrease compared to the same period last year.

Moka (MOKA) maintained its position as the world leader in shipments despite a year-on-year decline of over 15%. Moka shipped approximately 4 million units in the third quarter, significantly outpacing competitors such as TPV, BOE VT, and AMTC. The company's ability to serve a diverse client base, including Xiaomi, Samsung, and TCL, alongside operations in China, Vietnam, and Mexico, has helped mitigate market volatility.

In the Chinese domestic market, brand shipments fell by 4.3% in the third quarter of 2026 to 69.6 million units. TrendForce predicts that total annual shipments in China will drop by 7.7% to 30.36 million units, marking the lowest market scale since 2010. The decline follows a period of growth spurred by government subsidies, which ended in the second quarter of 2025.
