Global TV ODM shipments and LCD panel markets face shifts

The global television ODM market and LCD panel industry are experiencing shifts in demand and pricing. According to TrendForce data, July 2026 saw a 4.3% year-on-year decline in shipments from the top 10 professional ODM factories, driven by factors such as the exhaustion of sports marketing momentum and high spot prices for memory chips.

Despite the overall decline, specific manufacturers showed growth. TPV (TPV Technology) saw shipments increase by 57% year-on-year, reaching approximately 1.18 million units, while AMTC grew month-on-month by 23.1%. MOKA remained the market leader with 1.25 million units in July, though it experienced a year-on-year decrease of 17.0%.

In the panel market, August saw a general decline in prices for LCD television panels across all sizes. However, the rate of decline narrowed compared to previous expectations. Analysts predict that panel prices may stabilize in September, with a potential for prices to remain steady through October. While retail demand for smaller-sized televisions has been suppressed, orders for major panel manufacturers have increased by over 10% compared to the second quarter, as brands like Samsung aggressively pursue annual performance targets.
