Global Village surpasses Magic Kingdom in daily theme park attendance
Dubai’s Global Village has surpassed Disney’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando as the world’s most-visited theme park, according to new data from the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). While Disney maintains the highest total attendance across its global operations, Global Village recorded an average of 49,505 daily visitors in 2024, edging out Magic Kingdom’s average of 48,732. Notably, Global Village operates for fewer days and fewer hours than the Florida park, resulting in a higher attendance rate per hour.
Separately, the prediction market Kalshi is facing a potential valuation surge. While a recent investment valued the company at $22 billion, an analysis by Pitchbook suggests it could reach a $42 billion valuation ahead of a possible initial public offering next year. This growth is contingent on the outcome of a Supreme Court case that could allow individual U.S. states to regulate its business operations.
